Ann Rule has died
 

I've read lots of her books. Great true crime writer. Rubbed elbows with Bundy
and the book she wrote about working with him, made her a bit famous.

She was also an ex cop. RIP

Dang! I haven't read any of her books for a few years, but did enjoy them. Her writing style just had this factual and rather gritty quality. I could always hear a bit of police reports in her writing.

That's right, the ex cop came through in her writing. She never had to dress it up.

She'll be missed and remembered as one of the best.

Years ago, I had a few drinks with Ann Rule in a hotel bar after one of her book signings. Nice lady and we knew some people in common.

It's a real shame she was paying her 3 kids $25,000 a month to manage her affairs; and they managed to steal another $100K:
