four years ago today...

you all saved my life. Still alive and well today because of this forum and its fine group of people. I am forever in your debt.

I think I had a mini stroke today....

Congratulations on your anniversary!

I am in the "Post Stroke" brotherhood myself having had mine on June 19th of this year. Having also survived a full arrst heart attack 20 years (actually 20 years and 1 month) ago I can say the stroke is a more difficult recovery. I still have some vision deficit, difficulty with my reading speed and some short term memory issues but all have improved and continue to do so. My neurologist son tells me I will see improvement for a year or possibly longer.

One of the things that helped me during my recovery was visiting here daily as I couldn't drive for 3 months....but I have a REALLY clean, shiny 911 with a list of projects to be done over the winter.

Maybe we need to start a "survivors club!" LOL

David, congratulations on another year. This bbs is a better place because of you.
(Looking forward to the MG updates, and I never get tired of your "on the bench" series.)

Love ya, brother!

JP Stein, all health to you, too! Can't wait to see what's in store for the Miata!

Great that you're still around - and a new sports car!
I remember that well. It doesn't seem like it's been four years. Time flies...

That is pretty rare here.

Well, that anyone would admit to listening to anyone.

Awesome. Absolutely.
Has life changed much, post mini-stroke?
i.e. better health habits, more aware, appreciative etc. ?

David,

Glad you're still around!

Of course, if you had just listened to your Missus, you wouldn't have needed to take life saving advice from a bunch of folks on the internet.

I know, I know, just getting a second, and a third and a fourth opinion.
Bass players will sometimes do that I'm told.

Best
Les

So glad you're ok, one of the good ones here.

For anyone reading, this guy does favors for people that no one ever hears about. There are others as well.
