Okay I admit at 5'10" 200lbs I'M fat! But I'm very self conscious about my body and don't go around parading it in public... heck I'm embarrassed to wear shorts with my neon white legs... if I'm at the beach I peal off my shirt and run right into the water.

I actual DO like a girl with 'meat on her bones' over the emaciated stick girls some guys lust after. However all the girls in that gallery are clinically obese... not healthy or fun to look at... all just IMHO of course.

Heck, i'm 5'10" and 185 lbs and people call me skinny. I do have a few extra lbs around the midsection, but at 50 years old, i'm doing much better than most others my age. Bikinis should be reserved for the tiny models that get paid to starve themselves, not someone that is carrying an extra 50-100 lbs.

In my opinion, David Hasselhoff's daughter Hayley isn't all that fat by today's standards, and she has a pretty face.

No way should she be included in that category found in the first link. I only saw the first two or three pictures, but that was more than enough.

I'd rather not see this sort of stuff, but it exists.

Maybe the Muslim's have the right idea with the Hijab, Niqab, Burka, but only if it applied to the plus sizes.

"Not all that fat by today's standards" is a fallacy. Fat is fat. And it's disgusting seeing fat people going out in public wearing clothing obviously designed for MUCH smaller people. This goes for both sexes. When I'm at the beach, park, public pool, whatever...and see a bunch of FAT (not overweight, but morbidly obese) men walking around with their shirts off so the whole world can see how disgusting they are...I just don't get it.

My work computer isn't loading the news story's photo, so can't comment on her in that pic; however, Google imaged her. I see many images of her ranging from "normal," to slightly overweight, to fat.

Scientifically speaking, there are very, VERY few people who are "given" fat bodies. Being fat is something you "achieve" through years of doing harm to your body (eating too much/poorly, not exercising, etc.).

Obesity is an epidemic, period. It is an enormous problem facing our country. My opinion? You wanna be a lazy, lardass and cause yourself to die early? Whatever; your life, do with it what you want. But when I see morbidly obese children, I think their parents should be charged with child abuse. Their inability to raise their kids in a healthy manner will plague them with lifelong health issues.

However Guy also has a point, did you look at the bikini link? A I said I'm chubby, my best guy friend is +400lbs, but most of the ladies in the link are unhealthy over the top fat. Kinda like it is okay to drink alcohol... unless you wake up in the gutter covered in vomit... then you may have a problem.
