So 50 year old Tony Lara from Deadiest Catch dies in his sleep. A few other stats:

Meanwhile, attendance at the rally topped 1 million people. The previous record crowd was estimated at 633,000 people back in 2000. Unfortunately, 13 people died during the rally.


Some other numbers from this years rally:

220 DUI arrests
203 misdemeanor drug arrests
99 felony drug arrests
over $28,000 cash seized
1,501 citations were issued
4,557 warnings.
152 Injury accidents (69 last year)
13 people died (3 times more than 2014)

I love to ride those hills in September when the heat and crowds are gone.
