how to up load a PDF here
How?
|
It's not possible.
|
On a Mac (please no one even start the debate)
You can open it in Preview, "Export" as JPG, and then upload the JPG to Pelican. On a PC I imagine there's something very similar. SmileWavy |
Take a picture of the PDF, save it as a JPG, and voila!
|
It you can put it on a web page you can post a link to that web page. But that is way more work than most want to mess with. Just convert it to JPEG.
|
Never tried, but can you do a screen shot of the PDF and save it as JPG? (didn't work, unless you want all the adobe title bars in the picture)
Do you have adobe pro? My work is too cheap to buy me the pro version... my freebee version doesn't support the export or any extra 'save as' options. |
|
^ Does not most word proc. programs have a 'save as PDF?'
I understand the OP already has the PDF. Use a free site as Dropbox. Upload the PDF, designate permissions and simply post the link on Pelican. |
open PDF
goto "file" "save as" "options" "save as image" then it lets you choose the various image files..chose jpeg. ??? i think that works. |

Scan printout or take photo of printout. Or better yet: print it, fax it to a friend, have them scan it, copy to a floppy drive, mail it back USPS welcome to 1985. If you really are having problems Hugh, send me a PM and I will give you my email address. I can convert it to JPG with Photoshop and email it back. I have been using Photoshop forever. |
On a PC I always keep a blank bitmap image on my desktop (Right click on desktop and select New->Bitmap Image)
Open your PDF file With your PDF application open and selected do a ALT-PrintScreen Right click your blank bitmap image and select Edit Paste from clipboard to image. Save as whatever you wish. On a Mac Press Command (⌘)-Shift-4. You'll see that your cursor changes to a camera pointer. Press the Space bar. Move the camera pointer over the window to highlight it. Click your mouse or trackpad. Or to cancel, press Escape (esc) before you click. Find the screenshot as a .png file on your desktop. |
