This is Mr. Higgins - I'm guessing it isn't for sterilizing the world's biggest tattoo needles!

rick-l 08-27-2015 07:24 PM

Is that for the 777X?

porsche4life 08-27-2015 08:49 PM

What's that cost per minute to operate?

afterburn 549 08-27-2015 11:55 PM

HS !
I thought we had a good size one over at Lear Fan......You win!
So Bowing is going full tilt on CF everything?

Scuba Steve 08-28-2015 03:50 AM

People have been saying that the newly completed one in Charleston is the world's largest... KHI was reported to have the world's largest last fall... Everett's are 28'x120'

I'm not sure whose wins, to be honest. The Everett one looks cool though!

I was viewing it on my iPhone and did not see the airplane photo on the side of that.

I would love to see the "How it's made" episode on how they made that. Just seeing how they made the heaters would be interesting.

Cool!

That reminds of this video.

There are going to be three of them by the time we are done.

I'm part of the equipment group that's working on specs and selection of the equipment for our new 1.25 million square foot composite wing center. This is one major component, its going to be incredible when it is finished. I'm hoping it'll keep me working for the next 25-30 years!

Sorry to spoil the fun, but your mom called and she wants her dildo back.

willtel 08-28-2015 04:38 PM

Jeff, is there any way you could lay up a full 930 monocoque shell in that thing when no one is looking?

Por_sha911 08-28-2015 04:45 PM

Let's powder coat the entire car!

Kind of scary to me, a non-mechanical engineer, that the work crew is standing 18 inches from that raw steel (?) as it is being manipulated without any face or eye protection.

Not sure what would happen that would require eye protection. Maybe if your name was on the glasses they could identify your corpse.

I am surprised how close the spectators are.
