PPE must not be a word in that language! Most amazing I find is how you have to keep the work piece constantly rotating to avoid the droop. I am not that amazed by the time it takes. This guy probably cranks out 100 horses a day ...

What do you mean? He was wearing pants, closed toed shoes and glasses. Sounds perfectly safe to me. I suspect that if you tried to get that guy to wear heavy gloves, an apron, etc... he'd look at you as if you were an idiot and/or from another planet.
