Okay Target Shooters, Lets See Them
We had our monthly muzzle loader match yesterday and we shot a 6 inch black bulls eye at 25 yards and again at 50 yards. I came in tied for 4th/5th and felt pretty good since all the shooters that beat me are 20+ years younger than I am! Here's my target from 50 yards and it scored out at 96 with 2-x's and the 25 yard was a 94 so you can imagine how well some shot? We had a couple of 100's with 3 and 4 x's! We shoot real black powder, round ball, open sights AND OFF HAND!

Ya see these punk azz lil Boyz can only show ya their modern hi cap autos or their venerable wheel guns. They can't bring a real mans gun to the firing line. Why he11 they wouldn't even know what to do with it, let alone have the patience to develop the skill to shoot it.
Now let's see the smoke poll that done all this magic. I bin shoot in smoke poll for 42 years. First one was a TC Hawken, which I still gots. |
Here is Little Smokie, the custom made mountain gun. Points if you know what one is without a google search.

I'll let you know Oct 20. I'm going to an Appleseed "known distance" event where we'll be shooting out to 400 yds unsupported. Should be fun!

Prefer something a bit stronger for home protection overall. Mossberg 930 SPX, 7-9 rounds as fast as you can squeeze them off. 00 buckshot or slugs, no problem.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1441777610.jpg
