I've got this Cyclops unit. Its pretty light and compact. Throws a real nice beam. It also has a low light switch for use more as a flashlight in close quarters. Rechargeable too.

I know you said no flash lights, but it will outshine and run circles around that Streamlight. Run time is usually about 1 + hour and that's the only fault compare to the bigger lights like your. Swap out batteries and you are good to go. NiteCore TM26 "Tiny Monster" 3500 Lumen Flashlight | ThinkGeek look into it.

in our tunnel. one of the contractor guys had that Vulcan. (i think)

we gave a safety tour to the fire dept, and they had another unit that blew it away..also streamlight. it did not mess around.

googling it, if i had to guess..it would be the Streamlight Litebox.

Amazon has it for $246.
Hmm...amazing unit.
Thanks for the info...I think. ;)

There's the latest model then there's last years for a few bucks cheaper. The new ones are brighter and run time is just as long. I have two of them for peeking under crawl spaces and attics. I no longer have to go in or under there unless its something major. It lights up the entire place like if its daylight. You will be shock at it performance and size. I suggest buying more 18650 batteries and an external charger. Swap out batteries and keep on going. I think they sell a complete kit. I think Rusnk bought a couple of them as well a few weeks ago. Ask him what he thinks of them.

You are funny.

You will really like this thing if a strong light is needed.

sc_rufctr 09-10-2015 07:34 PM

I find it hard to believe any torch can be that bright for 1,000 hours on one charge. Awesome tech.

Is it Chinese made?

look 171 09-10-2015 09:17 PM

On its highest output, batteries last only about an hour but on lowest, its 1000 hours. I tried it on low and left it on for three days. It worked just fine so I got tired of leaving it on in front of me on my desk.

Along with the Nitecore NBP52 Battery Pack and the NHM10 TM Series Handle Mount
As well as the battery charger kit plus batteries.

You are funny. Great, I am glad you got the latest version. That damn thing is so bright, I really don't think you can tell much of a difference.

You know you are sick if you get your light delivery during day and can't wait for the sun to set.

That's what my psychiatrist says. ;)

I'll just go into a dark bedroom and play with it...probably like you did. :p
