Orange is the New Black...Any Watchers
I have to admit, I got hooked in. It went beyond the lesbian stuff, it actually was pretty funny in places and interesting in others. The back stories sure do help explain a little of their perspectives.
Season 4 is supposed to begin in January. It is only on Netflix. So if you don't do Netflix well ya prolly haven't seen it. For those of you who are fans, impressions so far?

It was OK, watched all three seasons.
Watch "Narco" on netflix, its pretty enlightening about the drug cartels in Columbia. Seems mostly true. |

I watched the first two seasons then got hooked on House of Cards. Never went back and watched season 3.

I got tired of that show after a while... "Wentworth" (an Aussie show, also based in a ladies prison) keeps getting better and better. Highly recommended.

Season one was great. I got hooked. Season two was OK, but the story began taking a back seat to the antics they pull for shock value. I watched a couple episodes of season three and lost interest.

It's a good way to waste time when I get bored of that 70's show... Ha ha
I watch it with my BIL who has been locked up for a good part of a decade and give him a hard time about the whole concept...

I watched the first season, and I liked it a lot, watched about one and a half episodes of season two and decided that it had lost it's mojo. Never went back.

I just finished season 3. As others said it started to drift the further it goes on. I hope Crazy Eyes drowns in that lake.
I'm happy about Longmire starting back up on the 10th. |

A fish out of water story about a society woman incarcerated in a tough women's prison.
It's the work of the same woman who did "Weeds" on HBO a few years back, which was a great show with a smart premise and fantastic writing - for maybe three seasons- but then it lost it's way to the point where it sort of almost became ridiculous. |

I agree with the comments. Spoiler for end of 3 so don't read on if you don't want to get spoiled...I guess I am interested to see how Alex takes care of business. She doesn't die because she is in season 4 which means that he dies. She popped Lolly thinking she was a plant, turned out Lolly was just nuts. Crazy eyes has developed. Love the idea that she is a writer and all are hooked on her erotica even though she has never had a sexual encounter!

IMO its been getting better and better and better with each season.
i love in season 3 now they are really getting into commentary on the american business model, and the prison industrial complex. a great look inside our justice system and our era's short time span business model, where nothing matters, finance the future and keep the stock price high! piper is somewhat boring now. it was fun to watch her before, the slow slide from hero to villain, but IMO her story arc is somewhat over. |

"Trust No B**ch" is classic. What she did to Justin Beebette was gold. Pipes has got gansta cred...
Love the 'sauce' of tuna, miso, and honey to give the essence for the wannabe Felonious Spunk. Producing over a 100 a month at $75/ea is some sweet side business!
