Nice little beater
With lots of potential. My boss just acquired it a few days ago. Lots of new parts ordered (that's the fun part). Numbers matching BB Pontiac 400 auto.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1442430947.jpg

Looks to be in fairly decent condition. Great project.

I would SO just drive that as is. Maybe find a suitable rear bumper (with similar patina).
|
Just don't paint it that same, dog ugly, green color. You did not buy it from someone that lived on Ione Dr in Sacramento did you? There was a car just like the one pictured that was over there for quite some time.

He also just got a split bumper 71 Camaro in about the same, (no a bit better) condition. Several people have tried to buy it already, so it will go for about $15K |
Also that Firechicken will be restored fairly quickly, things happen fast at this shop.
He and I are sort of, in business together mostly so we can play with cars. We do this for a living. Load and unload cargo ships.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1442433725.jpg |
Sorry better picture

I like the Pontiac. I'm afraid the Africaborg is a bit of a boat though.
|
Same rust problem for the ship and the car. I agree with leaving the car in trailer park patina, I would have to fix the headliner though.
