I really enjoyed this. Netflix Israeli Air Force origin story. Pee Wee Herman's dad, who knew?

Turns out a veteran could buy an army surplus plane for five grand after WW II. They started a Panamanian airline, flew to Czechoslovakia. There was a factory that built ME 109's, and they used the US army surplus planes to carry the fighters and supplies to Israel.

Not to go off topic but I thought this thread was about the Paul Tibbets movie getting the B-29 crews prepared to drop the bomb. 'Above and Beyond' is a pretty good, rarely seen movie (with Robert Taylor) about what Tibbets went through and the secrecy involved.
