Had the car in the Timeline last 2 years. Passing on that but will be there tomorrow to park and walk around!

The Porsche Timeline was a great show. Some very nice cars this year. I met Bob Tindle from Pelican Parts and he gave me a new engine firewall cover and insulator for my car to show. Nice guy! Anyway- I won the "Most Likely to get a speeding Ticket" trophy that is a hand carved wooden model of my car. Very nice!
My daughter Tori was with me greeting people. Great show and always getting better!

I was there. #53 my car was over by the waffle house. We just moved to the area so I'm a timeline newbe. Some great cars. I was surprised no long hoods tho. Maybe they were all at rennsport.

Sorry I didn't get the opportunity to roll with you guys. My Co-Driver and I were heading out to Walters on SR-91 to meet up with the OCR and Riverside region guys when this a semi-truck jack knifed directly in front of us. I couldn't do anything but swerve to avoid the crash. We were sideswiped by another semi, who tried unsuccessfully to also avoid the jack knifed semi. We were certain inches from death. I had just had the car painted, and was hoping for fun run up to Lake Arrowhead for the timeline to shake it down for the Targa Baja event in November. Unfortunately she is gonna be the totaled.......

Here's it what it looked like Friday afternoon, hours after finishing it.





The box truck was right behind us, had we braked, I would not be here to post this.



For once, I knew why traffic sucked on the 91 e/b.....

I'm bad with the picture taking. I took a couple of some 356 cars. I forgot to take a picture of my car. Here are a couple of the pics I took as well as a pic of my car that was in space #53.

Thank god you guys are OK! Man , my heart goes out to you! Sorry about your car.

Are you certain its totaled? Flippin bummer...I would be crushed! So much work and elbow grease cant be priced.
Let us know what happens with there insurance.

Just got in touch with the guy's insurance, so we'll see how it goes. I did not intend to hijack this thread, just wanted to explain why I didn't make it. I was really looking forward to a nice day up in the mountains. I'll be posting my own thread later about the incident and the BS one has to deal with.... Anyways, the pics appear to confirm my suspicions that it was an awesome day up there.
