Lost 3 More Friend
 

:( Well, been kinda rough again, one of my buddies (41) had the same heart issues I have, and gout, we would joke about it, well, the other week, he ended up in the hospital, a week later, he was gone:( Went to his funeral on Sat.

One of my Shrine brothers, leader of the Oriental Band (yea, Dude, I'm in the Band) a guy who never seemed to get old or tired, passed the other day, I go to his viewing tonight:(

And lastly, a young lady that I have known for over 20 years, and recently, was dating. 3 weeks ago, she felt like she had the flu, went to the hospital, was put in ICU (2 weeks) and then last week, I went for my visit, and she wasn't in her room (the nurse told me the week before, they would move her to a regular room in a few days) and they couldn't figure out were she went, said she must have gone home. I get a text that night saying she was in hospice, so next day I was there (and all of the following except yesterday, was sick & didn't go anywhere) her organs had shut down:( Sat she was no longer communicating or opening her eyes, Sun, she was gone & this morning (not knowing) I stopped by to find her room empty. :(
Seems every-time one of my friends die, so does a piece of me, she was only 47 and cute as a button, plus fun to be around. This picture was a few days before she got sick.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1443466526.jpg

Byron I don't know what to say....you've had a rough time these past few years, and though we've never met, I feel like I know you like a longtime friend. My heart goes out to you brother....be well, take care of yourself, and remember that your Pelican friends are ALWAYS here for ya....

Oh man. It's bad enough when they're your age, but to have three go in quick succession has got to be unsettling. I'm sorry for your losses. Take care of yourself.

Byron, SO sorry to hear of this, not only for you but for the families and other friends involved. Others (above) have spoken the same sentiments. Every day is a gift.

That's awful having to lose 3 friends in such a short time let alone any of them. Sorry about that.

My wife lost 2 best friends to cancer several years ago. It's sad.

In the Brad Pitt movie they said when we lose someone we care about it makes us realize how much they meant to us.
