there fixed it for you

somehow even with his previous race history I don't think he will be the weakest link if the results are not what the team expects

Rumors they were vetting Danny Patrick..... ooh, haha, eek! Ya' know, its the whole CRASCAR connection thing, PR.... hehe, oh haha--------------------------

(sorry, just couldn't help it ;-)

I have a feeling he's going to be more ready than the team will be.

Heck, I think I'd rather try to snag Button's seat at McLaren than go with a rookie team, Ferrari power or not.

^^^^Thats supposing McLaren would take Grosjean over a former F1 world champ if they can keep Button. More likely Alonzo is gone from McLaren (of his own choice) before Button. If Hass has the pockets they should try to get Alonzo but those would have to be very deep pockets...

He'll be fine, once the team gets its teething problems out of the way. Sure would be nice to have some, you know, like, actual testing.

How about an American driver?
mb Alexander Rossi 2nd seat?
If the rest of his season goes well?
Could Haas be paying for Rossi's F1 ride this year?

Alonso wants a couple more championship which he honestly deserves talent wise. But won't get at MacLaren. he would have zero interest about Haas.

I struggled with why an upcoming talent such as RGSJ would want to go to a new team, but truly Haas will be a B spec Ferrari. Drivetrain, rear end, the only thing not ferrari is the monocoque built by Dallara. I suspect all sorts of under the table blueprints made their way from Ferrari already.

The idea is for GSJ to help them develop the car, and if he does well, be in the Ferrari family with a shot a replacing Kimi... Gutierrez is rumored to have the second seat (part of the deal with Ferrari for whom he is a reserve driver), with Mexico telecom money (or something). I agree I'd rather see Rossi ! But Manor might do well with a Mercedes engine too, so I hope he stays in F1 either way !

its a good move for grosjean, Hass is probably going to be one of the more stable teams in F1at least he knows he will get payed.

as for Rossi, he might be better off at Manor especially if they get mercedes power next season.

Haas is looking for performance - he won't be hiring a US driver unless the driver deserves it for more than performance.

I'd try to get Jensen Button in the second seat. He's well tested and can develop a car. Good driver IMO.
