Anyone own a Sub-Zero Frig/freezer?
I need a picture of the nameplate, showing max current.
TIA! |
Mine is installed in the wall. The plate is on the back, so no access. I do have the wiring diagram is that helps.
What size?
Some are dual compressor units. One for the freezer one for the refrigerator. Most of their refrigerators still use a designated 15 amp circuit/plug. |
Does it show the amp ratings?

You can get specs here: Product Specifications and Manuals | Downloads | Sub-Zero & Wolf Appliances
I've looked at all of the "spec" pages. They only list the capacity of the circuit to be 15 amps. I'm looking for the running amps of the unit.
No luck. I took the schematic out and opened it up. It only says 115v, 60 cycles. Sorry.
Yeah the defrost element may draw as much or more than the motor. Maybe around 600W.
You could check Repair Clinic for the part. They often have more info on the individual parts -http://www.repairclinic.com/ |
Try popping open the grill on top, there's where the tech paper work is usually place when it leaves the factory.
That's where I got the schematic. Only other paperwork is the instructions for the 90 degree door lock and there are no plates on other info, only the water filter.
Thanks Eric.

BTW Make a dedicated line to your fridge. So it has a breaker all to itself ie. nothing else is on that line besides the fridge.
