Nice to hear you've had it up on the rear wheel a few times in the first few hundred miles

How does the whole cross plane thing work on the 2 and 3 cyl bikes? Doesn't make sense to me...

I'm not sure how the crossplane works, they call it a concept.
Here's a few detail shots.
Note how far the front has compressed.

I prefer the term "skill strips" All about technique and position.

I prefer "wisdom strips" . Street riding scares me.

Very nice bike. I was on my dad's Penton at 7.

This makes me think I should go down to the Yamaha dealer.

Yeah, that's lusty!

69 here...first ride (pillion, huge saddle) on a Harley...on country gravel road, age 8.
Second ride (pillion) on an NSU 250...age 10...never been the same.
Used to steal my brother-in-law's Ducati Americana 200 out of his garage and go ride while he was at work...I was 11 yrs. old.
'Couldn't help myself - I was hooked.
He finally caught me one day...ruined our friendship.
Oh well...it was worth it - I was hooked.
Have had tons of motos since - I'm hooked.
.
Hard to image the day when life says, "Sorry Don, it's over."
