If you vape start using lower level nicotine juice. Then buy a bottle of 0 nicotine and start blending the get lower and lower levels of nicotine. After a month or so you can be at zero nicotine . After that it is much, much easier to completely stop.

I quit smoking by vaping.
Started smoking in the Army when I was about 22. Tried quitting many times and failed miserably. Roughly 7 years ago, I switched to vaping. As SoL stated, started lowering the nicotine level gradually until I was at zero. Did zero for probably 2 years. While I was in Cuba a few years ago, I put my vape kit away in a kitchen cabinet behind the coffee "just in case" and never touched it again until I was packing to move back home 6 months later, and threw it all in the trash. I have never craved a cigarette since the time I started vaping. I DO still crave a vape, but I'm holding strong for 3 years completely free of all of it. |

They each had one, Jack happily coughing and laughing about what a great dude his grandfather was. Thanks for the memory! |

Good luck to all, still marveling at the 10 year revival of this thread.
Feel fortunate that I never took it up. |
