California Spring turkey hunt..opener this weekend!! my pellet rifle.

i cant wait!! i got time off approved a long time ago..and i printed the okay. they cant get me to show up for work.

i'm starting to pack and did a quick equipment check..this year will be mostly me and this. my airgun. i cant wait to try to plunk a tiny .22 pellet into the head of a big tom..or serioisly..a jake. i'm cool with a jake. my brother and i were cutting leaves off a tree at 20 yards in AZ..i think i am ready. i KNOW i need to dry fire three times after i pump the gun up to 200 bar. the pellets get way more accurate with a schooch under max pressure. gobble gobble..seriously hope the rain situation didnt run the birds off.

Looks like a built in suppressor on that. I hear they are finally legal on game rifles.

Careful with that color on the sling. Better paint that over - you start moving that rifle at close range with that nice color - cluck cluck cluck ... flush -> no turkey! G |

Best of luck! Never heard of hunting gobblers with a pellet gun. What's your range like?

Our season starts in a few weeks. I'm more of a 3-1/2" 5 shot guy. Had this guy on my deck this past weekend. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

. I don't hunt, but uncle usually has his limit of two within a few days....gobblers have made a big comeback in this area....there is a big sign on my rural property....NO Vash!!! Unfortunately, last year, one of "our" big azz Toms couldn't keep quiet....shotgun blast from neighbor's property on the last day of T season....bet it was tasty though .

We have tons of turkeys hanging around our place during parts of the year. They sleep in the neighbors' trees across the road. Nobody around here shoots them, and they don't pay much attention to you.

Got so many of the GD things around here you gotta be careful not to slip on turkey**** just walking to the mailbox. Prolly could hit 'em with a stick if you don't move to quick and spook the GD stoopid things.
