Part of me says wow that's cool, the other part is worried about yet another terrorist threat to airliners....

How the heck do they land those things? The jet packs, not the Airbus jets there smartypants.

wonder how tough landing is. doesn't look like a lot of wing surface to glide to a stop.

With a vest full of C4 and a tall building, you don't need a lot of runway..

But seriously, they use a parachute (see the video in the thread I started)

If you skip to :24 in the video, you'll notice that the A380 is running full flaps in the scenes with the jetdorks. The jetmen can only go 190mph, and that's in a decent. The A380 in any normal flight situation would easily outpace them, even on the accent at take off. No threat.

That is ONE wild stunt, calculated but crazy people! I want to see more..... perhaps next Bond flick??

I imagine the thrill of flying a jet wing suit is awesome enough, but I'll bet there is an entirely different thrill flying in formation.

I know on long distance cycle rides that I normally do alone, a different feeling comes over me when I get absorbed in a group

The Jetpack dudes use parachutes to land.

FWIW... & IMO Whoever is behind Emirates is just throwing money at it right now. (I have some inside knowledge)

It's like "it absolutely must succeed regardless of cost". I doubt they're actually profitable.
