I was there when they were demolishing the pits at Sebring to replace them with the current building. I grabbed a light and chunk of the old concrete. I wish they could talk. Can you imagine the stories they could tell?

They are almost completely accurate. The top one, built on a Graflex flash, has replica rubber t-track for grips. Since the actual screen used items have yet to be identified I'll stick with them. The lower, is built from left to right, with correct AS handwheel for the pommel, Browning machine gun flash suppressor/booster, Graflex flash clamp, and WWI MK 1 No. 3 rifle grenade. The emitter is a replica of the Rolls Royce Derwent jet engine balance tube that was used because surplus jet engine parts are out of my budget..

A rifle belonging to Medal of Honor recipient Otto Voit, who was awarded the medal for valor at the battle of the Little Big Horn. It was tested forensically to see if the rifle was at the battle, it didn't prove to be with existing artifacts to have been there. The people who tested the rifle independently of myself thought that the rifle could have been the "Big Fifty Springfield" used in the battle that was mentioned as belonging to Captain French.

I was working at a shipyard (doing construction) and they were cutting holes in 1 1/4 inch plate... I picked up one of plugs and brought it home.

So, on the way home you could say "I've got a hole in me pocket"

I have my GGG-Grandfather's double barrel shotgun....a beat up old spoon that I've had for 45 years. Don't think I'll still have it tomorrow though....gonna give it to a younger relative later today ;)
