Anyone Else Watching the Sky This Month?
 

The planets are amazingly bright, with Venus, Mars, and Jupiter in alignment.

If you just started watching, you missed Venus and Jupiter very near each other back on Oct 21, I think it was. It's still very cool though. I see it in the mornings when I take the dogs out. It was beautiful this morning with the 3 planets an then the sliver of moon with the dark side being lit up by the reflected light from the earth.

Yes, it's been a good summer/fall for stargazing. Venus has been extremely bright in the mornings like you say.

The news guy just pointed out that a meteor shower is happening too.
Might have to actually bundle up and go out for a look.
