Joined the USAF (to avoid the USArmy) and to see the rest of the great state of Texas:.
Sept 1968 Lubbock, TX : enlisted before the draft got me Sept 1968 Amarillo, TX: rode bus from Lubbock to induction center Sept 1968: Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX: USAF basic training Oct 1968: Shepherd AFB, Witchita Falls, TX for programming school. Jan 1969: Randolph AFB, San Antonio, TX. Assigned to the USAF Military Personnel Center Sept 1972: discharged from the USAF at Randolph AFB . and thus ended my military service.... well somebody had to guard the home front!
