Emdrive or quantum travel?
Do we travel via space (think Star Trek) or via quantum mechanics (think Stargate)?
Conventional thinking is we need speed to travel great distances: Everything You Need To Know About The EmDrive Thruster | Digital Trends Emerging thinking is we need quantum mechanics to solve the multidimensional opportunity of a folded universe: Scientists achieve reliable quantum teleportation for first time - CNET I find this fascinating. I'm going to have a beer. What do you think?

Have 2!
Distance is just another word for time, right?

Assuming propulsion from the EM drive is for real, and not an artifact,
I'm going with EM. Even if the science supports the quantum mechanics more, the idea of ramping up synched particles to actually doing something practical seems much further off. Someone mentioned 1000 years for the quantum physics idea. I would think 500-1000 at minimum. On the other hand, the EM drive looks like something that already sits on a garage workbench. ![]() I like the EM because it appears more accessible to tinkerer's and inventors. Someone took some brass/copper and whatnot and whipped it together in the same way any one of us would do it and post it to PPOT. It looks more like something any schlep could build it in their basement. I could easily see, in the year 2050-2150, we can go to ebay, pick up some cheap superconductors, rig up a version of WolfeMacleod's winding machine, install a bitzkit, drink a beer, and go for it.
