You want a 10 inch or 7 inch screen? For the smaller, I like my Nexus 7 (32 GB) You would want a "Generation 2" (sometimes called 2013). Many on ebay and amazon:

I like the Nexus line as it is the only one AFAIK that gets regular patches and updates.

I thinking 10''
still don't get all the O/S choices or advantage's of one system over an other or if just used to watch flic's surf the need for multi cores vs faster duel cores and how well added cards for storage work |

The hardware vendors who use Android as an OS typically modify it a bit. And vendor specific apps / features so unlike Windows and OS X there is no master OS release / update. Whether the system gets updates or not is really dependent on whether the vendor feels like bothering. Meaning a system from vendor "X" may never see the most current OS even thought the device is capable of running it. The NEXUS line of devices has been really good about being maintained with regular updates. Although update support will likely only last for 2-3 years from when a particular model was released. So if you buy a model that has been out a year expect 1-2 years of updates before it may be end of lifed.

You mention adding storage. Apple really doesn't support that, so solutions for more space on an iPad are clunky (wireless storage, aftermarket plug-ins, neither of which will work with all apps). The new Fire has a slot that'll take 128GB, I dunno about the other Android products. Then there is Microsoft's diabolical scheme, the Surface. It puts Windows on a tablet and emulates a touch interface so you get the productivity of a real laptop with the features of a tablet. Most laptop makes have something similar. I've got a bit of each: Amazon Fire tablet, iPad, and a Thinkpad 10 tablet. i prefer the iOS interface of the three, but the Fire sees the most use for content streaming.
