Shilling for the new provider of the paycheck. I can't wait for the episodes of "Top Gear Uncensored" I know it will not be called that but it should be funny.

I can't wait to own one. Does anyone know where the tracking device is?

impactbumper 11-30-2015 05:08 PM

I can not wait for that either. Can somebody stop him from calling it eh-ma-zin :D

BGCarrera32 11-30-2015 05:10 PM

I wonder if it can detect and avoid buckshot.

Wonder how many of these will get popped out of the sky for their cargo.

I was thinking the same thing.. It sounds like these will be used in dense populated areas which would be pretty obvious seeing someone shooting it down or firing off one of those net guns. Cameras on board should be able to see who's trying to get the precious soccer shoe cargo though!

How hard would it be to take control of one? Like the rebels in Oblivion.

GH85Carrera 11-30-2015 07:06 PM

If it flies along at 400 feet it will be almost invisible unless you are out looking for it with binoculars knowing it is coming close. If it flies to right over the landing spot and comes straight down very few people will see it at all.

Jeremy Clarkson's real role with Amazon: Pitchman - CNET

Actually rather LARGE... I don't know why but I was expecting smaller drones.

Seems legit. After seeing that I think they're actually seriously considering this as a service.
If nothing else it should be entertaining.

trap shooting for presents.....cool!

island911 12-01-2015 06:19 PM

I find it easier to simply shoot vending machines for free stuff. (gti)

Seriously, however, I expect that eagles will take these out of the sky more so than Elmer Fuds

Arizona_928 12-01-2015 08:35 PM

I think it will be more fun to hack them. Have to add that old court case where you own the 63 ft above your property. Sooo this will get interesting. Hack, block, jam the signal, and these things can take you out.

I had a hawk demolish one of those Parrot AR Drones. It was pretty impressive, he was seriously pissed.

There's word of drone escorts coming out...
