December 8th - Let's not forget "Dimebag"
It seems as though December 8 was/is a pretty dark day for the music world. In addition to the tragic and senseless murder of John Lennon in 1980, December 8th, 2004 also saw the murder of guitarist Darrell “Dimebag” Abbott (formerly of Pantera)! Sad indeed. I've watched the Behind the Music episode several times and can see the pain in Vinnie's face as he talks about that night.
Was there ever a connection made between the date with Dime's killer and Lennon's killing? Digging Vinnie's latest, Hellyeah!, too. |
