Christmas Gift Ideas for the Boyfriend

Ok guys I need your help. I'm looking for Christmas gift ideas for my really great boyfriend. His daily car is a 91' 911 (964) C2. I know he has a wish list a mile long but I've never seen it. He keeps it stored in his head. So being the really great girlfriend that I am, what should I get my guy?

This is a pic of his car today.

Does he have the black pull over with the porsche logo on it? I know a lot of porsche people who have one. They really like them and look great on. That is one of the porsche things I'm getting my husband for Christmas (I just haven't ordered it yet).

Here in lies the problem... my really great boyfriend actually works for Pelican Parts... not sure his boss would appreciate my purchasing anything from his competition.

Or the Porsche Varsity jacket from Pelican Parts.
You could get one for yourself at the same time.
From my own experience with my husbands bikes, I wouldn't buy anything cosmetic or mechanical unless he dropped very clear and precise hints as you never know what improvement scheme they're developing.
A. If you're reading this I really need a Patek Phillipe nautillus for everyday wear and a set of SC wings.

Or a pair of Tod driving shoes, or some track tuition.

It's also down to how much you want to spend.

Island, thanks for the great idea. The great (ex?) boyfriend did mention at one time that he'd like to have one of those. Since he and I are not speaking right now... not sure if I'll be shopping for him this season or for a new boyfriend for myself

I wouldn't bet that he knows. It seems that I seldom know what I did to start a round of that kind of thing until it is explained to me. From what little I know of male/female interaction, I think this is fairly typical. I suggest trying to explain it to him before shopping for a new man. Use small words, speak slowly and in great detail to make sure he understands. And if that doesn't work, well, speak slower and use smaller words. He'll eventually get it.

Thanks Reg. I actually got him one of the silver one's for his Birthday this past September... He posted on the gift and the personalized cake (with his car on it) back on Sept 30.

Relationships are always an on-going negotiation. The trick is to deal only with people whom negotiate in good faith.
Both sexs have been known to leverage someone elses "good faith" for short term gains.
Refusing to talk, can be taken as the well known negotiation tactic "my way or the highway" or simply just "hit the highway." Though sometimes, people just need to collect their thoughts before talking.
Identify the situation early . . find out "what happened". (I hope you have by now.)

I agree Island. Since no demands have been made and no doors have been shown, I'm going to wait and see. In the mean time, after looking for months for a 1:43 model of his car I think I've found one. It's not the same color but it's the same body style... keep your fingers crossed for me.
