New Turbo 25K Off
Saw this at Porsche Burlingame (San Francisco Airport) over the weekend. 175K sticker, will sell for 150K. Straight Turbo, not an S and not PCCB. Photo from Google but car was there on Saturday. The black Turbo S Cab in the background sold when a couple flew down from Seattle unannounced, walked in, saw it, bought it.

You know, I was so in awe I didn't ask. I was too busy trying to come up with the money in my mind... Car had only delivery miles, never driven, brand new. They received seven '15 Turbo/Turbo S/coupes/cabs from the factory and this is the last one. They also had a mint pre-owned '15 GT-3 in a special Paint to Sample bright blue, wheels in silver, yellow seat belts (black interior).

I suppose if you want a new car...
If it were me I'd spend 70 to 80k on a 997 Turbo and keep the rest. ![]() |

991.2 is about to hit dealers, they want to clear these .1s out.

Maybe I should start one of those gofundme pages.

That's what I would do.. Zero interest in the 991s, Turbo or not.

You sure? Looks like it has PCCB brakes to me. Big plus, if so.
I had the same opinion until I drove one and spent a little time with it. Turbo S, pretty loaded. Incredible car. JR |

Looking at the pic I think you're right. The white one I saw Saturday didn't have PCCBs and had the dark glass roof panel for the sunroof.
Yes, many ways to spend the money but one of these and an air-cooled car or two would make a nice stable. I drove my buddy's 997.2 PDK 4S with Sport Chrono, Sport Suspension, etc., all day Saturday along the coast, twisty roads, freeways and had a damn good time. Would be happy to spend the money.

And one has to wonder if the factory is helping subsidize the 25K discount?

Just make sure its been very well cared for! But yes, I'd do a red 997 Turbo Cab all day long.
