				Old spoon mag and grips.

Dad has a Colt 1908 Hammerless in .380 and it has custom grips and they are a bit thick. He would like to find some reasonable priced grips with the Colt logo on it. He would also like to find someplace with a magazine in stock. He called Triple K since they had some walnut grips but they told him they weren't sure if they could get any more and the magazine was 3 months out if they can get any more.

Sarco used to carry them but are out. Gunbroker has some but the grips are either $200 + or not very nice. Mags are ridiculous. Sounds like the 1903 and 1908 grips are the same and the .380 mag is interchangeable if it is a later model 1903 mag. He doesn't care for the black plastic grips much. So, any ideas? His current grips are similar to this for reference.

I've had good luck finding original grips on eBay. You need to be patient, and find one with a decent "Buy it Now" or one nobody else is bidding on, but they do come up.

I found original Colt 1911 Gold Cup National Match grips in like-new condition on eBay for $50. P.S. Re Gunbroker. Unless it's a penny auction...EVERYTHING on Gunbroker is overpriced.

Thanks. We looked on Ebay a bit ago and didn't see anything decent. Those look like exactly what he was looking for.

Do your dad a favor and click the Buy-it-Now. If you don't, somebody else will.
