Registered two new "UPS" domain names yesterday

I've been dealing with UPS for almost a year now, on the machine they banged up back in February, insured for $10,000. At first, the claim was accepted, then a check was supposed to be sent, and then.. nothing ever happened, and we got the runaround and brushoff from everybody.
More than a month ago I was contacted by a higher up, some sort of Claims management, who promised she'd get this moving.
Then nothing... emails were ignored, phone calls not returned.

So, I'm finally sick and tired of this bullcrap. I registered two domains yesterday.
upsbrokeit.com at Directnic
and
upslostit.com at Directnic

A meeting place for victims of UPS's bullcrap.

Friend of mine made this for me last night.

I did this logo alteration today. Clicking on the "What's Your Gripe" dropdown menu will cause the main page to shatter and fall away, of explode outward, revealing a UPS victims forum underneath. Main page will be very similar to the UPS main page... but withthe truck gif on either side of the logo.

Who's got some good UPS stories they want to share?

I'll be very surprised if you are not contacted by a law firm representing UPS very soon threatening you with a lawsuit.

I've had one very bad dealing with UPS concerning a claim for damage. Eventually, they shipped the box around so much that they lost it, then THEN they paid up.

FcukUPS.com?

Have you considered plastering your experience all over their social media presences (Facebook, Linkedin etc.)? Big companies often have dedicated teams dealing with that sort of thing and I find them most often prepared to jump through hoops to prevent their name from being tarnished in public.

I bought some tires recently from Tire Rack. UPS delivered them. Tires are pretty much UPS resistant. They could not damage the tires but one of the pairs of tires had two broken straps Tire Rack uses to bind them together. UPS tried their best but rubber tires are just too tough to destroy.

Yep, I've done that. UPS banned me from their Facebook page for making inquiries about when this will be resolved. I've recently turned to Twitter...

There's a site called UPSĀ® Sucks Because... where people can make posts, but it's more liek a twitter feed... however, it does have mapped locations of complaints, which is pretty cool. I'd like users to be able to upload photos and discuss with other people.

I would suggest you remove the images above from this site.

Our host would not appreciate what you have posted.

While I understand your position, we are guests here, and Pelican is not the right place to post this type of material.

UPS ground, or did you ship a 10 K machine on a skid, with UPS freight ?

Yep.

They can and will outspend and outlast you in the legal arena (war of attrition). You have no chance whatsoever of being able to use those websites to actually post anything meaningful against a large corporation like UPS (whether deserved or not). They will stomp you into the ground. This is America - corporations always win.

Sorry to hear of your troubles and I wish it weren't this way, but it is.

A lawsuit will ensue. Back in the dark days of the internet I owned a ISP and one of our hosting customers started a site that complained about how a large multinational vitamin supplement company was treating it's associates. It's a long, expensive, story but I would caution you about creating a platform for others to grandstand their grievances. Stick to social media :-)

I figured the shipper would use UPS freight. He did not.. however, it was packed in a fairly beefy wooden crate, strapped down inside the crate, "THIS END UP", all that jazz.

UPS-Sucks.net has been around a while. It's a pretty popular site. They also use an un-altered UPS logo...

There must be a logic to how they ship items, but it doesn't make sense to me. I order something from Amazon and it is shipped from AZ to KY to CA and finally HI.

Registrered in Dec 2013.
The site owner (if not UPS themselves SmileWavy ) is going to get in big trouble, earning money by using the UPS-logo (Google ads).

And as for all those bashing- and feedback-sites, you never know who is bashing and what the trouth is. At least 30% of all feedbacks, rants and ratings on the net are fake. You can buy a 5 star booking.com or Amazon rating for 5 dollar in Asia.

Ups runs everything through their sort facility in KY. It was on modern marvels or one of those shows, extremely impressive place.

All shippers suck when it comes to damage, and being bolted to a pallet doesn't do much to prevent it. We had 40k worth of electronic gas price signs show up at out shop wrapped in cling wrap, with a chunk of crate laying on top of them. Shipping company tried to claim that's the way they picked it up. Big load of BS.

I guess you've figured out that none of that matters.
The computers that sort their stuff don't read anything but bar codes, and all the fragile stickers in the world are meaningless.

If what you are shipping can't survive a 3 foot drop, then using UPS ground was the mistake.
A heavy, expensive machine should have been shipped via truck freight.

You're shipper's negligence was the cause of the loss not UPS.
