Bentley SUV - Dash clock?
Anyone else see this $170,000 option on the new Bentley suv?
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1452204157.jpg Not that I would ever be interested in an SUV that cost that much, but jeez, talk about excess.... Bill |

They make four of those clocks a year. Talk about exclusive.

WOW... That is expensive but I actually like it.
$170,000 is over the top though. I can't see many customers ordering it. With regards to Bentley and R-R. You either get "it" or you don't. And if you can't afford a new R-R or Bentley you can't afford a used one either. |
It looks gaudy and cheesy to me. I wouldnt want it even if thrown in by the dealer.
Now if it was a Patek with a perpetual mech calendar mebey |
Does it play DVDs?

Sheeet, you can't even make a phone call with it. It does two things. Looks good and tells time. And costs lots of money. Three things. |
Just a guess, with only 4 made, they will all be sold no problem.
Plenty of billionaires on the planet with spoiled kids wanting to show off. A total of 1,645 people made the 2014 billionaire list, representing combined wealth of $6.4 trillion. Of those, a record 268 were newcomers, surpassing 2008's 226 newcomers. One hundred people listed in 2013 failed to make the list. The number of women on the list rose to a record 172 in 2014. |
That's a lot of money for a Breitling, which isn't a watch you'd rank in the top 10 or 20 manufacturers on a good day, even if it is for a tourbillon and comes with a built in winder.
I'm reminded of the $10k Breguet that you could have ordered for a Lambo LM002, 30 years ago. Gee, I wonder where Bentley got the idea.... JR |
