Exotic car dealers, or museums in N. Fla?

Leaving this weekend to take my 10 year old boy to Universal studios. ( lord give me strength. ) We are going to have a few down days after we leave, and are planning on hanging out in the area somewhere.
I though it would never happen, but my son has become a car nut just like dad. He is of course interested in exotics. I would love to take him somewhere where we could see a few Lambos Ferraris maybe a few Porsches and some other exotics.
Maybe we'll just show up at Baz's front door and check out his cars ....
Any suggestions appreciated .

Why not Cape Canaveral?

They have an awesome museum.

Take 528 straight East. About 1 hour on the nose.

Just did Orlando with the kids in August.

If you have not already booked stay on property so you can get early access and you definitely want the fast pass.

If the Harry Potter stuff interests you, it's absolutely amazing, remember the fast pass does not apply.

If you don't want to spend 4 hours on line then get up at the ass crack of dawn and use your early access to get into the park by 7 AM. Head straight to the Potter attraction and get it done. Then you have the rest of the day to enjoy the park. With fast pass you can get a full day in at the park by noon then head back to the hotel for a nap or some poolside.

Do one Potter attraction the 1st morning then the other the next morning.

Real tough to do both in one day without standing around, a lot.

Get a park hopper for one day so you can do Hogwarts Express.

The whole reason we are going is for Harry potter land. We have the fast pass. Thank you for the advice. I was considering Cape Canaveral . I've never been there myself , although I have seen a launch from the area in the past .
Thanks, good idea

Big Daddy Don Garlits has a drag racing museum in Ocala

And I just saw an awesome private collection in Ocala, but I don't think I can get anyone else access..

Don Garlits drag racing museum in Ocala-you might call Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville (904)725-9155 and see if someone can take you thru their museum.

It's worth it for that alone.

Absolutely spectacular. You can spend a couple of hours in Diagon Alley alone.

Waiting on line at Hogwarts is not totally terrible.

There is a ton of interactive stuff going on to keep you entertained but getting in early is definitely advisable and so worth it.

The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade has a great lunch. They have a big platter special that has a ton of stuff on it and reasonably priced.

Best lunch we found is the English Tavern directly across from The Mummy, again really good food, very reasonably priced and good service.

Yep, boxster leasers have ruined the region.
While in Orlando, stop by Stratton Motorsports (Sonjay here) and check out the VW buses.

Brumos has been sold. All the race cars, and the museum are being moved off the premisis . We always used to stop in on our way through. I was really stoked for this year, because last I heard , there was a 935 in the showroom.
We got to meet Hurley one year .

How about the Cunnigham museum in, IIRC, Tampa-ish? I am totally blanking out and cannot for the life of me remember the name of this museum. I don't think it's a 'Cunningham Museum' but it's a museum with Cunninghams in it.

Daytona International Speedway museum and track tour.....way cool. Speedweeks are coming up soon so very likely there will be either NASCAR teams, or 24 hours practice/testing going on.
