I'd rather pick a house in the middle with decent neighbors than have 1/2 my neighbors be road. Corner homes always have a lot of useless "front" yard that you can show off if you are into landscaping ...

Just my two cents. I do agree on the neighbors. My first look when looking at the lot is over the fences. A yard full of junk next door? -> pass.

You say that like there's something wrong with this place? I chose to move to Gilbert 2 years ago and love it!
