Steelers - Bengals AWFULL!

Ugliest football game I've seen in a long time. Commentators were calling Bengal's behavior "disgraceful." Boomer says he's embarrassed. Bengals deserved to lose, and Burfict should be suspended for the next season.

Steelers fan here, I almost went to bed after Cincy took the lead, glad I could see Burfict got some return Karma.

Pittsburgh didn't beat them, they beat themselves by letting themselves get drawn down (waaaaay down) to Pittsburgh's thug standards. Aint exactly like the Steelers don't deserve a couple payback injuries. Hope there's more concussions in store for them next year. Rapelisberger's washed up.

Bengals wouldn't have made it past the first round.

This will be a lesson to future coaches to send "out of control" players to the showers, before they can erupt.

They won but they didn't beat the spread which is worse than losing in my opinion. They got a touchdown taken away by a whistle happy official, so I'm not blaming them. Good to see a team with no class lose.

Good defense for both teams. I don't like blow outs, good game. A bit dirty, but what in the NFL ain't?

Bengals less than perfect...

Not sure Ben will be throwing a whole bunch next week against the Broncos unless they pump him up with the happy juice.

Glad that Steelers receiver isn't paralyzed.

Too bad the Bengals gave away their season on two classless penalties. Hope they think it was worth it.

The game didn't really matter in the grand scheme of what will be, but it was great drama to the end.

That was possibly the best AFC game I've ever watched.

How was the hit to the head of #25 Bernard not a penalty???

Yes the game was ugly, with that being said, I bet the Broncos would prefer the dirty Steelers over KC....

I think there was idiotic and thug behavior by both teams. Number 55 on Cincy and 50 on Pitts are both idiots.

The Bengals handed it to the Steelers and I'm thankful for that. BUT the win was costly as I doubt AB will be able to play against Denver and even if he can I doubt Ben will be able to get the ball down field. I thought Ben had a broken collarbone the way he was holding his arm.

I thought the debate over Burfict's sack of Ben was ridiculous. It was a clean sack and Ben went down awkwardly. What Burfict did to AB was nothing short of head hunting.

Bryants' acrobatic catch for the TD is probably the best moment of the game.

If you've ever played 'real' football yourselves, you'd know in real time on a play like that - you can't predict which way the receiver will turn, etc... That said, it was a hit to the head and should have been a penalty.

Joey Porter / Pitt should have been penalized as well for being on the field.

Bottom line, no fumble by Cincy & they win...

The Steeler's should pack lightly for Denver. Both of their QB's will have a field day with Pitt's joke of a secondary.

To say he had " control" of the football is a stretch. In any other game in this season of " no catch" . Yes he came up with it at the end, but????. Oh well, Bengals lost, life is good.

The same could be said of Tyrees' helmet catch in 2008. But Bryants' athleticism was, to my eye a bright moment in an otherwise disgrace of a match.

Did you happen to see the Texans get routed? Oh baby did that game stink.

And a lucky call too. The part of the rule for a catch/ball control that it be "pinned to his body" is arguable. Not enough to overturn so it'll be on highlight reels for a long time.

As for the Bengals, the guys who did the hard work to basically win the game should be mad as hell at the idiots who let their egos and emotions get the best of them. Cheap hit and then the shove killed all the effort on the part of the good men on that team.

Fun to watch and lots of drama but meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
