Elissa Update
 

How things have changed from this morning...Upgraded or now at respiratory distress not respiratory failure.....She is on a IPPT like a c PAC machine instead of a ventilator. She still has the ability to talk and take it off for meds or water. Her Pulmonologists says massive IMPROVEMENT for only 12 hours.
Elissa's sorority sister went with me to the hospital and she has a dead car battery at our house so I had her drive Elissa's car home and we can take care of that tomorrow.
I am so happy to see Elissa is better shape than I was told by my Wife. It still hurts like Hell, Every day counts.

Gary, glad to hear she is in better shape, at least for the time being. Make every day count.

I must say that I clicked upon this thread with trepidation....that's wonderful news. Elissa sounds like a real fighter....hmm, wonder where she got that from? Keep on keeping on Gary...best wishes to you, your family, her friends, and most of all Elissa! You're gonna get through this...

That is such good news, maybe sharing it on here, and getting the prayer chains going was all she needed.

FWIW my mom had colon cancer and the doctors gave her a year... that was twenty years ago.

Now that's the news we wanted to hear Gary! Keeping those positive vibes coming your way!
