I saw on the news this am that the 7-11 that sold the winning ticket was mobbed by folks celebrating.

What I don't understand is why?

I don't get it either. I guess those folks must really have nothing to do. In my most bored state, I can't imagine what would make me go do that.

3 winners across the nation. something like 6 tickets had 5 numbers here in California.

I was watching that crowd at the 7-11 on the news this morning and all I could say was ...

Maybe they were all waiting for things to get out of control so they could loot the store?

Ummmmm. Because the owner of the store (that sold one of the winning tickets) gets a $1M "thank you" for selling the ticket.

I'm not even a lottery guy... Heard the word listening to radio...

Apparently many were friends and neighbors of the owner.
