Independent BMW shop in Irvine/ Newport area

Any suggestions for independent shop to replace battery in a 2011 328i? Looks like some things have to be reset and several battery companies including the Auto Club won't touch it. Dealers are $475-500!!! If you can email me, I would appreciate it! Thanks. Rching@usc.edu

Can't you replace it while keeping a little 9v battery hooked up to the cables to maintain memory items?

I replaced the battery in my E46 and didn't have to reset anything. I think it needs to be disconnected for a while before anything needs to be reset.

Get BavTechnic, a knock off cable with INPA, or iCarly for BMW (Iphone app and bluetooth OBDII piece) Carly for BMW - The Most Powerful BMW App Solution . I have bavtechnic and it was easy to register my moms E60.

Get the OEM battery, it is worth it and fairly inexpensive if you shop around.
