What colour should my Landy be?

All:

I plan to have my Land Rover Ninety Station Wagon painted before we take it down to the U.S. Virgin Islands. I'm really torn as to which colour to have it painted. I like the classic look of red with a white roof & black accents, but having seen several in silver/grey, I am reconsidering. I really don't want a black roof because it & sunshine are likely a bad idea. It's off white/ivory now, except the doors, which are white as I just put 2014 doors on it. The wheel arches will be black, as will the lower sills.

Thoughts?

I tried to post a poll but couldn't figure it out, sorry!

Cheers,

Paul.

Is this rig going to stay down in the islands? If so, you could really go for something more tropical. Mexico blue?

I like the white/cream and the original red.
That BRG is nice, too.
I'm tired of seeing silver rigs. Blah.............

This is a better representation of how it would look in red. No exo-cage though...

I would go with a light color because of fading. Also a light color will be a lot cooler

If it was a '97 NAS, that's not actually too bad...

I didn't used to be a big fan of red vehicles. Then our garage ended up looking like this...

Both gone, but now I like red. Classy!

Obviously had been restored...but immaculately done.
I looked closely at it for some time...had a list of all that was done to it.
I thought of Pelican and wished I had my iPhone.
It was stunning.

+1 on the Arles Blue with a white roof.

A buddy had a 110 that was RAF surplus in that color. Loved the look of that thing! So authentic looking.
