Shipping question: from Guam to the west coast of the USA?
All:
Friend of mine has a lead on a cheap/free fire truck. Slight logistical issue: it's on Guam. I don't think it will fit in a shipping container. RORO? Thoughts? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1454378565.jpg Thanks in advance Paul. |

Following, currently living on Guam will be moving back to US in next two years.
There are some companies which will provide a roll on/off service on-island. Transport time is considerably longer than if a container is used. I have heard it can take upto 6 weeks. Only boat operator on-island currently is Matson servicing the West Coast. Another carrier was to begin service servicing the west Coast through Japan but I am unaware if their first ship has arrived. |

I will ask my wife. She used to be in the shipping business until she retired to have our rug rats. If I don't post a reply, that means my absentmindedness has come through again or getting my ass chewed by her, again.
