Pizza run and camera mount test

Decided to have pizza for dinner. I can't get it delivered where I live so I decided to test out my new camera mount while I ran into town to get it.

Nice. Minimal wind noise and that is not easy to do.

Details?

portable home made mount located on the middle of the dash. I've got to make a couple refinements in the design. It was shot with my iPhone 6. I was mainly concerned with vibrations.

Yep, Dashboard is great for no wind, but if you listen to the radio, and I do, then everybody get to listen

Cool video. Any chance of seeing your home made mount?

A couple more refinements and I'll post a pic.

The pedals in a Corvair aren't as well positioned as those in a 911. I really have to crank my foot around to manage that.

'Noticed that center rise on the hood, I wondered what you were driving.
Figured it has some age.

my camera mount started out as a two dollar mouse trap from HD.

I removed all of the unwanted parts and cut a groove across the width of the base.

I made a few slight modifications to the swing bar and then replaced the bar back on to the base. Eliminated one spring. Two springs were more than what was needed to hold the camera in place.
