Anyone else getting ads when signed in?

Never had ads in the threads unless I wasn't signed in.
They are now scattered randomly though the threads.

Anyone else or am I special?

You mean like the life insurance ad that appears in your post? I was just wondering myself.

I just started getting them also. Gotta stop this!

Use Firefox and their ad blocker....Adblock Plus.
No more, ever for me.
.
Menu (upper right corner), Add-ons.

Just started with me. Figure it out guys and tell the rest of us how to kill it.

Godspeed, too.

Exactly. Maybe one of the benefits of signing in is now gone?

Won't stop me from coming here but mildly annoying...

Site maintenance

Hi folks, we're doing a little site maintenance and the ads you are seeing within the posts (when logged-in) - is a temporary issue.

We'll get things back to normal shortly!

Thanks for your patience.

Mark

It's Amazon ads for routers (wifi) for me. Tied to a search earlier today on my phone.

And now they are gone!

Thanks for letting us know, the new ad plugin didn't seem to have an apparent way to filter based on login so I've updated the forum code to handle it. It should all be back to normal now.

Thank you, Mark. Really appreciate it.

I run *very* aggressive ad blocking (spoof known dns zones/domain names to prevent connecting to them at all) here at home and don't see any. Don't run ad blocking at work and haven't noticed anything offensive...
