Need help finding a song. "coast to coast" lyricH
Kind of a Flying Burrito Bros style, but not them. Upbeat, country guitar licks. Something like "coast to coast, new york to La, coast to coast, 3000 miles all the way...." Did search the web and youtube.

Not route 66.

Promised Land by Chuck Berry is a coast to coast song. Workin' on a T-bone steak, ala-cart-ee.
Can't pull up Gogars vid on phone so guessing his/Wayne's is the one you need. I digress but wonder how many times Tidewater4-1009 was tried by the masses? |
Trapeze?
Nope. Upbeat country rock, james burton style. probably 25-30 years old. Not sure if coast to coast is the title, but the lyrics are in there.
Probably not the Dan Hicks tune of that name :(
not dan.
Wiser Time - Black Crowes?

A bunch of songs pop up including Sade - Smooth Operator but it's not country. Ian |

That phrase is in a lot of songs I guess. Not them unfortunately. It's probably the chorus, and is written like Post #1.
You have words to a verse?
Reminds me a Dylan Song back in there somewhere. |
Here's the vid for the song Dan T posted.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZwkHASFLsC4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> but it definitely doesn't have the lyrics that you thought. Quote:
