AR10, need to pick a scope.
So I have decided to add to my collection with another AR, this time to DPMS Oracle (AR10 308/7.62). I really would like to stay in the AR design and go with a scope designed for one. 1-6x24 for example, Vortex strike eagle is along the line I am looking for.
Whatcha think? |

I have several Nikon scopes and they seem to work real good. They do make one for the .308 that I plan on getting for my AR-10 build that I am doing.

Hey Harold!
I have a Nikon 1-4x on my .308AR. It's the .223 BD Nikon, but I got it cheap when on sale from Midway with the mount. I also wanted the none magnification for short range and felt 4x was more than enough for what I'd use it for. So far it's held up. It's clear and eye relief is good. I saw some Nikons on sale recently with more variety in magnification and reticle design. I also have a Leupold on my .308 Remy700 and like it a lot, but I don't have a long range so I couldn't justify a Leupold for my .308AR. Souk |
I got a smokin' deal on my Mark 4, couldn't say no.
