Glad I quit the morning newspaper

Our morning paper delivery got very screwed up around the holidays/early January. Missed, late, lack of response when complaining. I miss a real paper but after my buddies ordeal I won't be re starting it.

My friend down the street was in AZ for 3 weeks and suspended his delivery. His house was broken into twice. He calls to get the paper re started after getting back and finds out there was one delivery person who worked for 10 days during his vacation and quit the day of the break in.

From the discussion with the paper, they indicated that they are used to cooperating with the police regarding delivery folks using their job to case houses.

If you take the paper, don't suspend it while on vacation, get a neighbor to pick it up!
