pick light-need help fast
I've always called this thing a pick light. Because it's a light and it looks like an ice pick. Everybody I know has called it a pick light. I used the term in an article and the copy editor challenged it. I said look it up. Lo and behold, Google has no answer for "pick light."
Am I crazy or is this not a common name for this tool?? I need answers fast. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1456755566.jpg |
I know that tool as a test light. I have the same one pictured...bought it off the Mac Tool truck many years ago.

Have never heard it referred to as a pick light.
Test light or continuity tester. |
|
Horrible Freight carries a couple different versions of the above. Cheap and probably worth it :)

Continuity tester if it has the battery built in, Circuit tester if not.
Reminds me, I have a few I want to convert to LED..... In 40+ years of wrenching, never heard the term pick light. |
I guess "pick light" is just a local/regional name for it. I'll use a more universal term.
Thanks. |
