Seriously... if you have time to honk you have time to cap a couple rounds!

Depends on if you have a raccoon tail hanging on the aerial.
This I don't seem to use the horn much. I really need to stick the air horn on it.

Almost never. I did honk today cause my daughter didn't see me waiting for her in the H.S. parking lot. I was in the 911 and she was expecting the Explorer.

I haven't used my horn in years. I can't remember when it was.

You had me laughing on that one. No man, that's the old school Mexican low rider's horn. Oh yeah, I can't whistle worth a damn, so I had to howl. You know us typical, dirty contractor type.

I don't know about other cities on the east coast (I really don't remember people using their horns much, even in NYC), but we don't really use our horns much out here in CA. I can count the times I used my horn within a year with one hand.

When the light turns green and the dip***** in front of me doesn't go, yes I do BLOW my horn. And I like how he gives me the finger when he takes off.

I would like to have 2 horns.
The polite beep beep to thank people. And the fucher air Klakson to scare people away.

In the Lotus, all the time. I installed a Stebel Nautilus very loud Twin-Air horn. Same problem as the OP's Miata, you are easily not seen.

Horn use in DC is sometimes over the top. Some asshats sitting behind you at a light will honk the very moment the light turns green. Serious, WTF is that for.? We also have a lot **** drivers (mostly with DC and MD plates) from all over the world. They have no clue and even less manners. Driver's training seems to be a joke. SoCal is pretty mellow in comparison. I don't recall using my horn there yet.

I used the horn in the Z3 a lot. It was so small people wouldn't see it and try to back into me, merge into me, etc.
I use the people horn in the Volt now and then. Pedestrians aren't used to a car that moves without making noise.

It's really not necessary to use the horn. It's not like you're going to go reform someone by honking at them. The only time that I use the horn is when someone is distracted when the light turns green, and they are texting or some such. I'll give it a short beep. I think people who lean on the horn for like 5 seconds are total a-holes. That's tract home owner behavior, haha.
