NHL Crystal Ball
Time to prove how little I know. Most teams have about 15 games remaining before the playoffs.
-Do the Flyers have a shot? - I think close but no cigar. -Who'd have thought the Bruins would do as well as they have. Do you think they can pull of a Miracle Mets move? I don't want to say what I think. Let's just say I'll be thrilled if they go deep into the playoffs. -Is Carey Price coming back? With Subban hurt last night, I think the Habs will tell him to not push an early comeback. No need. They're toast this year. Won't even make the playoffs (que crocodile tears). -Can Trots break the Caps Playoff curse? MMMaybe. They'll either crash and burn early or go to the final. -Chicago, Dallas, Kings, or Blues? I'm liking the Blues. -Is Gary Bettman still a pompous buffoon? If you don't know the answer to that one then go back to golf, bowling, or badminton.

WHO THE PHACK CARES!!!.......EH!
OK, had to get the Canadian thing out! That being said, the Bruins have done well as of late in the East while, after an awful start, the Ducks have bounced back in the West. I see both going far this year BUT I wouldn't mind seeing a Blues/Caps final with the Caps and Ovechkin finally getting their chance to hoist ol' Stanley.... and Ol' Stanley breaks in a million pieces just as Ovechkin hoists her over his head amidst all the seemingly jubilant celebration.....and then all his teammates are really pissed at him for breaking such an iconic trophy....they, in turn, pick him up moshpit style and toss him over the boards. So now he's really pissed! He jumps on the Zamboni and proceeds to run down all his teammates one by one. And now the Swat team has been called in to the Verizon Center and they proceed to........  !

Meh...
I was never a hockey fan. I went to one NHL game. At the end of the third quarter the game was only 1-0 and it was so boring everyone went home.

I'm wondering if the curse of the President's trophy will bite Washington thus thwarting Ovi once again?
I just read that PK went home today. But yeah why bother? The new(ish) playoff requirements make the wild card very interesting in that the best record gets in on the WC regardless of division.

I predict that the Leafs will finish last overall and they won't get the first round pick.
I really don't care who gets in. I'm looking forward to watching the playoffs. Playoff hockey is by far better than the regular season.
