We went to the first 4 or 5 NASCAR races they had up there and the cost kept going up and up and my wife and daughter just had to have lots of Jeff Gordon stuff......so we stopped and then I did the VARA, HSR West and a PCA race there and it is a great place to go. We do have Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin tires hanging in the garage as Good Year sells them once the teams are done with them. They do make a great present for little kids who like race cars.

went to an indy car race in Fontucky a couple years ago. great place to see a race. i remember the weather was perfect, sky was awesome, with the view of the moutains in the background.

Isn't that the truth. I've never understood why it was oriented so the grandstands faced the setting sun. From 3:00pm on, it's ridiculous. There is nowhere in the grandstands where you can find a little shade.
