Love it. Just a great tune.

berettafan 03-22-2016 06:44 AM

and yes, I know I should be ashamed.

but dammit sometimes you just gotta be honest.

as with a lot of music it is best enjoyed on a quality sound system.

There is a strong flavor of he who used to be called Prince in there too.
Don't blush, it's just muisic, different flavors for different moments.

Cheers Richard

Don't have to be rich
To be my girl
Don't have to be cool
To rule my world

No....

I love the Bee Gees but this does not resemble them at all (to me). Prince, yes.

rwest 03-22-2016 04:10 PM

I get BeeGees and Prince.

SCadaddle 03-22-2016 04:15 PM

Yet another 62 seconds of my life wasted.

Here's what I heard:

(infact- play them at the same time in two different windows)

OMG - After the Chuck incident, you should relish every second. (Awesome recap, BTW)

Prince for sure. BeeGees, in the disco window. Not "Massachusetts"

Played it for my wife without explaining it.

She said "I hear Prince.......and The Stones"

masraum 03-22-2016 08:19 PM

Totally Prince and slightly less so, the Stones, but I also see where you get the BeeGees and Abba, but they are not as strong as Prince and the Stones. I like all 4 of those bands, so this is OK to me.

What about these by the same group.

No doubt Bob!:D

berettafan 03-23-2016 03:37 AM

To me it's way too pop to be stones and not nearly soulful enough to be prince.

Good guilty pleasure music. Just like beegees.

At around 1:34 or so you hear abba harmonies so similar you'd think it was a lost track for just a few seconds.

And then there's Dread Zeppelin....

I watched/listened to the first couple minutes of all 3 songs.

I like them

Reminds me a bit of The Sundays with more of an edge.
